Bucharest Summer University is currently at its 6th edition, 2005 being the year in which the Bucharest University of Economics, by dint of the Students' Senate has assumed its responsibility for building and deploying such a program at institutional level.

	Bucharest Summer University 2009 was held over 2 weeks (during 10th and 24th of august);
	It represented a challenge for 55 participants;
	Analyzed topic: "Economics and politics in the global world "
	The location was Moxa campus of the Bucharest University of Economics
	Altogether 16 courses and seminars were held by specialists from the economic field and teachers from renowned european universities.
	Among those mentioned earlier the following were remarkable: Daniel Dăianu, Gordon Crawford PhD, Jeffrey R. Franks, Adrian Severin PhD, Željko Šević PhD, Gheorghe Zaman PhD, Lucian Croitoru PhD, Radu Soviani, Ioan Cuzman PhD and Florin Pogonaru;
	At the end of the two weeks, the students and graduates from 15 foreign countries had achieved, aside from the experience of a summer university that combined theoretical elements with fun and culture, 5 international transferable credit points (5 ECTS).

	Analyzed topic: "The four fundamental freedoms of the European Union"
	The location was Moxa campus of the Bucharest University of Economics
	Altogether 14 courses and seminars were held by specialists from the economic field and teachers from renowned european universities.
	Among those mentioned earlier the following were remarkable: Roxana Rizea, Lazar Comanescu, Jean Cattan, Tim Evans, Gerdwin Lammers, Dumitru Miron and Dan Voiculescu;
	At the end of the two weeks, the students and graduates from 14 foreign countries had achieved, aside from the experience of a summer university that combined theoretical elements with fun and culture, 4 international transferable credit points (4 ECTS).

	The third edition of Bucharest Summer University;
	This edition, too, represented a success, both in terms of organization as well as in terms of participants and guests;
	Analyzed topic:"Global Investment Strategies in the New Economic Reality";
	It had an audience of 70 participants;
	Questions on the subject were discussed with experts from the International Monetary Fund, World Bank and teachers from universities such as University of Southern Denmark (Odense), Indiana University Southeast Louisville (U.S.A.), Aristotle University (Thessalonik – Greece), Macedonia University (Thessalonik – Greece), Bucharest University of Economics – ASE (Romania)

	In 2006 the analyzed topic was: "Preparing SMEs for a knowledge-based economy";
	The 2nd edition had 58 participants;
	BSU 2006 benefitted from the involvement of several distinctive personalities from the academic and public life. Among these may be mentioned: Professor Dr. Reston Lloyd Lester, a professor at Ashcroft International Business School, Cambridge in the UK, Mihai Tănăsescu, Varujan Vosganian, Codruţ Sereş, Mircea Geoană, Cristian Buşu;

	In 2005 the analyzed topic was:"The integration of economic diversity in Europe"
	This first edition had 40 participants;
	The inaugural edition represented a challenge and a demonstration regarding the potential and ability of the Students’ Senate to organize such an event;
